This is the hand form of gassho.
Seated gassho bow to
begin and end meditation
Before you sit, bow to the place where you are going to
arouse a wakeful resting in the deep wholeness of your
body wisdoming. Bowing outward before you sit, include
all human beings and the vast wisdoming oneness of
the whole Universe in your only moment body.
Standing in Gassho, bend at the Waist.
Drop to the ground bracing yourself with your palms.
Then place forehead and palms upward on the ground.
Raise palms slightly, hold, and then lay them back on ground.
Note:
While holding palms upward, fingers should be together
and palms stretched our flat. Not curled as in last picture.
Turning your palms against to the ground,
raise your body upward pushing with hands.
Return to standing gassho.
